Michael Manns is a vice president of research and investment management with Sit Investment Associates and provides fundamental research on health care companies. He shares management responsibilities for the firm’s small cap growth portfolio and the Sit ESG (environmental, social, and governance) Growth Mutual Fund portfolio.
Prior to joining Sit Investment Associates in 2014, Mike was a senior health care equity analyst with Bloomberg Industries. He has held various investment management roles at a number of prominent asset management firms.
Mike earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton Graduate Division of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 and a B.A. degree in political science from the University of Dayton in 1979.
Mike is a board director for Global Minnesota, which delivers programs that allow Minnesotans to connect and participate in the international sphere, extending Minnesota’s influence globally. He serves on the Board of Trustees for the Monitors Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation whose primary mission is to support programs that target the advancement of youth who are challenged by socio-economic circumstances or who may have limited opportunities to fulfill their potential. Mike also serves on the University of Dayton School of Business Administration’s business advisory council.
