Mark Book is a vice president with Sit Fixed Income and shares management responsibilities for taxable fixed income portfolios in the firm’s separately-managed accounts, private investment funds, and mutual funds.

Prior to joining Sit Investment Associates in 2000, Mark was a vice president and senior corporate bond strategist for U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray.  He has served as a fixed income portfolio manager for both Norwest Investment Management and Insight Investment Management companies.  His earlier work included a five-year period as a fixed income securities trader at Reliastar Financial Corporation, which is now ING.

Mark earned an M.B.A. degree, with a concentration in finance, from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in 1992.  He received a B.A. degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota in 1986.  Mark is a CFA charter holder and a CMA.
