Deepak joined Sit Investment Associates in April 2002 and provides fundamental equity research as a generalist focused on U.S and Europe. Prior to joining Sit Investment Associates, Deepak was a senior equity analyst at Alerus where he helped manage the firm’s large cap equity portfolio. He has over 16 years of investment industry experience, including investment research and management positions with Leuthold Management, and Dougherty & Company. He is also an adjunct professor in the department of finance at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. Deepak earned an M.B.A in Securities Analysis & Finance from the University of St. Thomas in 2007 and a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2002. Deepak is also a CFA charter holder. He serves as the president of the Investment committee for the Association of Nepalis in Minnesota, whose mission is to strengthen friendship and cooperation by building and promoting an active and supportive community among Minnesotans of Nepalese descent and friends of Nepal in Minnesota.
