Dan joined Sit Investment Associates in June 2023 and provides fundamental research focused on the health care sector. Prior to joining Sit Investment Associates, Dan was a Director at Ameriprise where he primarily focused on health care and helped manage the firm’s equity model portfolios. He has over 14 years of investment industry experience, including investment research positions with Piper Jaffray and Kopp Investment Advisors and worked for a leading global pharmaceutical company before entering the investment research industry. Dan earned an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management in 2010 and a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the University of St. Thomas in 1998.
